  • “What we do as improvisers ought to be deliberate and intentional. And we should notice everything that is happening in the scene. We will focus on the character’s point of view and the emotional dynamic that is created. It involves being in connection to your scene partner, challenging your comfort zone, relinquishing your ego, and developing the confidence to be in the present moment.”

Instructor: Miguel Hernández
Eight classes, Thursdays (6–8pm), 6/6–8/1

Superior Community Center
1500 Coalton Dr
Superior, CO 80027

  • By conceiving, storyboarding, and executing one silent movie/video production (1-minute) — ahead of a final “short” movie/video production (2-5 minutes) — participants will explore how various aspects of videography may be engaged to structure emotive storytelling with lights, camera-angles, shot-selections, talent, and … action!

Each week, participants are provided creative exercises to develop (or adapt) content, and practice production (video-capture) & post-production (video-editing) techniques for the making of videos/movies. The exercises will blend a traditional film-school approach alongside experimenting with creative A.I. tools to assist in all phases of production.
