Current Class/Session Offerings

Most classes are provided over six to eight weeks and are designed to prepare participants for next level of instruction. All improv classes engage the last scheduled class as a showcase for friends & family. All skill levels welcome for all Level 1 and select Level 2/3 classes. Questions?   • The second level focuses on more sophisticated sketches like character and relationship sketches. And the third level is a working writers room, but we'll also talk about how different sketch groups approach sketch writing. All of the sketches at Piffle Sketch Comedy shows are written by grads of the program and we love to have more writers.

  • Take  your improv to the next level with long form character work. Each week we will explore different ways to develop character. From outside in and inside out, we’ll cover everything from creating broad, ridiculous characters to genuine, grounded characters. We will practice scene work and showcase your character work with the famous Harold form on the Flipside stage.
