  • Fundamentals of Improv: Long Form Pattern & Heightening

Look, we’ve all been in scenes where the thing is kinda there, but no one really grabs it, and suddenly we’re ten minutes deep in a teaching scene, or a transactional scene, or an improvised corporate meeting. Let’s fix that.

This class is about exploring the different lenses for improv. Sure, there’s “the game of the scene” But there are other lenses, too. We’ll work on:

    • Spotting the weirdness

    • Making it weirder

    • Slow burn weirdness

    • Understanding beats

    • Edits that don’t suck

    • Different flavors of scenes

Come ready to mess up loudly, laugh at yourself, and (accidentally) stumble into some of the best scenes you’ve ever done.
